When will I get my photos?

Portraits/Small Events- You will get your full gallery within 2 weeks of your shoot.

Weddings/Large Events- You will get a few photos within 48 hours of your wedding day as a sneak peek. My typical turn-around time for these galleries is 6-8 weeks, but please allow up to 12 weeks as busy season can sometimes cause some delay.

How do I get my photos?

Your photos will be uploaded to a personal online gallery through my client portal, and you can access them using the passcode that will be sent to you through email. You will be able to download them to/from any device!

When/how do I pay or tip?

You will pay your retainer fee (also known as a deposit) on the date of booking after signing your contract and receiving your invoice. The remainder is due on the day of your photoshoot (for weddings, the remaining balance must be paid before the wedding). I accept debit, credit, PayPal and Venmo.

Tips are by no means expected, but highly appreciated! Those can be payed directly through your invoice, given in person by cash, or sent to my Venmo/PayPal: @KendallGaval after our session.

Why a second shooter?

For weddings and bigger events, I highly recommend a getting a package that includes a second shooter. First of all, it ensures that none of those "getting ready" moments, socializing between guests, or other details get missed. Second of all, if you're walking down the aisle, it helps having a second shooter to capture different angles of the same moment. While I capture your teary eyes and smile, a second shooter can capture the back of your wedding dress or guests reactions. Having another person shooting with me quite literally doubles the possibilities for your session!

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

Kendall Jewel Photography is a queer owned, operated, and safe business. You will never have to worry about judgment or discomfort coming from me or my associates on your wedding day. I even ask for pronouns on my booking forms that way you can be treated with the respect you deserve from the get-go.

Are you insured/registered?

Kendall Jewel Photography is a registered Limited Liability Company with professional liability insurance to ensure that you and I are both protected throughout the entire process.

Do you allow pets to be in photographs?

Absolutely! As long as you make me aware beforehand so your contract can reflect all liability and safety protocols regarding animals, I am more than happy to include your furry friends in the session.

What does your travel fee look like?

For weddings, anything beyond 85 miles is charged at 50¢/mile, or if flight is required (any sessions more than 400 miles total), airline travels and hotel fees are to be covered.

For other sessions like senior photos, maternity, and family, travel fees kick in after 25 miles at 50¢/mile.

What kind of prints and products do you offer?

Once your photos are uploaded to your gallery on my client portal, you will be able to view buying options for wedding albums, framed prints, canvas wall art, holiday cards and more by pressing "PRINT STORE".
