Where it started

Growing up, I was always expressing my creativity at the price of being labeled a mischievous trouble-maker. Whether it was drawing on the walls or painting on the floors, I was always using art as an outlet and treating it as an extension of my very own being. Throughout school, I took many art courses, and specialized in the human form and portrait illustration. Once I discovered photography, everything changed for me. It was a way to capture the same art I had always loved creating, but in real life, in raw form- which made it that much more intriguing to me. Photography has given me a space to not only satiate my creative drive, but provide others with keepsakes of a lifetime.
Where it stands

Today, I am a mother of two, a wife, professional photographer and business owner. Juggling the newfound world of motherhood and entrepreneurship has not been easy, but it has been extremely awarding. It's so easy, as any parent will probably agree with, to feel like you're JUST a parent once you have kids. But- photography offers me an opportunity to counter-act those feelings, be grounded by my work, and gain a sense of individuality back by capturing the world through my own unique perspective.
